We are delighted to announce that Fit 4 Learning has been awarded two years of funding through the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.
This funding allows us to deliver HAF holiday camps during the Easter, Summer and Christmas school holidays for the next two years, providing children with a safe, engaging and active environment during the school break.
What is the HAF Programme?
The Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is funded by the Department for Education and provides free holiday clubs for children aged 5–16 who are eligible for benefits-related free school meals.
The programme helps ensure children can access:
- Fun and engaging activities
- Healthy and nutritious meals
- Safe and supportive environments during school holidays
- Opportunities to stay active and make new friends
What to Expect from Our HAF Camps
Our HAF camps are designed to be fun, active and inclusive, giving young people the opportunity to stay engaged during the holidays.
Activities will include:
- Multi-sport activities
- Team games and challenges
- Creative activities
- Confidence building exercises
- Healthy meals and snacks
Our experienced coaches are fully qualified, DBS checked and passionate about helping young people develop confidence through sport and positive experiences.
Supporting Young People Beyond the Classroom
At Fit 4 Learning, we believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to thrive.
Holiday periods can sometimes be challenging for families, and programmes like HAF help ensure that children remain active, supported and connected with their community.
Through our camps, we aim to create a welcoming environment where children can:

- make friends
- return to school feeling positive and motivated
We also run community initiatives including our Girls Football and Cricket Programme and our upcoming Mobile Classroom Project, designed to support young people beyond the classroom.
